<p>As of today complimentary wi-fi is now available at Walt Disney World's Downtown Disney. The hotspot is called "Disney - Guest". No login is required but a Terms and Conditions will need to be accepted. &nbsp;Guest who have already connected at their resort hotel will not need to accept the Terms and Conditions again. Please note - certain areas in Downtown Disney may experience slow speeds or not be enabled at this time. More areas will be coming online in the coming weeks.&nbsp;Complimentary wi-fi is already available at all four major Disney World parks.&nbsp;</p>

I think the Hyperion Wharf project is dead for the time being (much like Flamingo Crossing out on Western Way). I believe that the wifi is part of the NextGen roll-out, which has included free wifi being to all the parks and hotels over the last year or two.
