Not that all designs need to be bold and daring (particularly in a space that hosts mostly adult groups who want to talk to eachother and has a great view), but this really just looks shockingly plain. It's not bad, but it certainly isn't enough to get me out of a theme park for an expensive dinner. And in all fairness, the old design also had the airport lounge aesthetic (just from a different decade). So what exactly is it that makes this the "California" Grill? Not the theme; the food seems to be fairly generic; not the view. I just don't get it.
