The forecast at Epcot this week is sunny with a chance of flurries. For one week only, January 14-20, there will be a magical Winter Wonderland location with falling snow where you and your family can meet and take photos with some of your favorite Disney characters. It’s an all new character greeting location in the Canada Pavilion.

Times for the Winter Wonderland location at Epcot are 10:30 a.m. – 2:10 p.m. and 3:05 p.m. – 5:45 p.m.

I do love the randomly sporadic show times though.

What happens in the Canadian culture from 2:10 to 3:05 each day that they can't greet visitors? Mexicans have their siesta around that time, but what are Canadians doing then? Checking hockey scores? Re-aligning their snowmobile tracks?

Btw, Leemac. I am hearing rumors that Phil Holmes is getting ready to retire. Have you heard anything?

They never should have said they would do this if this is the type of stuff on offer as a national marketing campaign.

And I still can't get over the show times listed as 2:10 and 3:05. As if just tacking on an extra five minutes and being closed for an hour between 2:00 and 3:00 would have put them out. Someone was only thinking of break schedules and not thinking of... you know... the customers who paid to be in the park that day.

The manager who approved publically released set times including "2:10" and "3:05" should be sent to be in charge of the laundry room at All Star Sports.

I'm not one to be overly critical when it comes to decisions Disney makes, but this is pretty lame.

I have been trying as hard as I can to hold good thoughts about this promotion, but the folks at Walt Disney World are not helping. I suppose I could say they are really putting the "Limited" in "Limited Time Magic."

I do note that the location includes falling snow. So that's magical-- right? It's not JUST a Meet 'n Greet. It's a Meet 'n Greet with FALLING SNOW.

    Magical.

You can't expect a full shift of continuous magic in a Disney theme park. It needs to take a break, and this magic is on break from 2:10 to 3:05. For one week only, I might add.

You really can't expect something this great to last all day or longer than a week, TP. Try to remain a little reasonable.

First of all it's hot in Florida. Do you have any idea how hot it is a Donald suit BEFORE he puts on a Pearl Jam flannel shirt?

Second of all, it's hot in Florida, and the bubbles will start melting soon.

    That's all I got.

Either this weird time issue has to do with giving the stage managers a lunch break (and if so I dunno why they'd bother with such weird times), or else there's another character greeting elsewhere necessitating the special event characters to get off the stage during that time (more likely, I would guess...is there a day show these days?).
