    Theoretically, I wouldn't really have any huge problems if stuff from Cars was incorporated in smaller ways, but there's just nothing subtle about this billboard. Combine it with the time delay since the release of the film, and it's just weird. Was there a billboard there before, or is the structure completely new? It looks completely out of scale with the building, and more than a little tacky.

Gone are the cool touches (when I first stayed at the Santa Fe it was one of the few places in Europe I could find A&W Root Beer) and in their place we get more "DISNEY!" I suspect with Cars 2 coming to Europe soon this may be this tip of the iceberg.

    I would be happy to accept Cars rooms if they went down the All-Stars route and made some of the rooms suites as a room for 4 isn't big enough for us usually and it leaves very few Disney options in Paris!!!

    That's possibly the best description of the synergistic push that has been going on with Disney for the last decade or so. If you don't mind, I might need to use that in the future. Disney doesn't seem to realize that being "Disney" to people is well done quality throughout. Disney thinks that being "Disney" is plastering "DISNEY!"-branded items on every surface possible. It's not the properties that make Disney strong and memorable; its the strength that makes the properties memorable.
