And you can thank new Epcot VP Jim MacPhee for pushing for this when everyone above him and in marketing (which really runs WDW) and even some evil folks in Glendale were pushing in the opposite direction. And MacPhee and some people at WDW and WDI who understand just how significant an anniversary this is ... much more so than the 100th anniversary of Walt's birth when he died in his 60s. They are still working to make the event something special ... and there well could be some surprises announced if Jim is able to overrule marketing and PR ... if not, I wouldn't be surprised at all if some hints are dropped.
