Currently, most attractions are pretty lax with the FastPass return times but Disney will start requiring guests to return no more than 5 minutes before the return window starts and 15 minutes after it ends. The window is usually one hour long. According to reports, the change is required as Disney begins to implement more of its "NexGen" project across the parks.</p>

Now they only serve to pit guest against guest in a competition that isn't even fair. Depending on what time you arrive at the parks, you may or may not have the advantage over other guests. Current Disney management seems hell bent on fixing things that aren't broken while NOT fixing the things that are!

Does this mean they will not run out so quickly? If they are going to enforce it at WDW they should enforce it at all the themeparks.

Once at DLRP we weren't allowed to use FP after we arrived 15 minutes later, but usually it wasn't a problem. Hopefully that comes to Paris as well. In my opinion they should get rid of the FP system. Only Disney hotel guests should be allowed for using it. It would be a great extra for staying at a Disney resort.

It doesn't affect how long the regular line is or they would be in front of you anyway...what's the problem. I heard how fair it was and how anyone could get one and how imminently fair that was. All you had to do was get there early and it would be yours. You snooze, you lose! Anyway, I am happy to know that I was not the lone dissenter amongst LP'rs. If the new idea that one might be able to get a Fastpass before they even get to the parks via internet has me reeling. If everyone were to take advantage of that Fastpasses would be gone months in advance and anyone that was not computer savvy would be just SOL. I have gone on record in the past saying that Disney has made a lot of mistakes in the years since Walt left the scene, but Fastpass was for most guests an Epic Fail. Now they are contemplating making it worse, proving the old saying (not old I just made it up), if one makes a big mistake correct it by making it even larger. The Disney 11th commandment.

I guess you never read Kevin Yee, or posts by several posters here that really don't like it. "Stay calm and carry on" seems very apt here.

I'll try harder next time. "All I heard was Fastpass is great, if they stop it I will stop going. No I guess not. All I know is that whenever I mentioned my dislike for FP, there was never an overwhelming outreaching of support. Only posts that basically told me how stupid I was to not think this was the best thing since sliced bread. Oh, well! Great artists are never appreciated in their lifetime. >>>"Stay calm and carry on" seems very apt here.<<< I'm so calm about all things that random strangers frequently run over and check me for a pulse. Does not apply. Surprisingly, one can state an opinion about something and still be calm.
