I'm kind of surprised at this title when the wrtiter ends the story saying this.

    >> As for the parents, we love the Auto Train and would love to go back for another rocket launch. As for Disney, we can now check it off our list. After two days we've learned that we've had enough, and that our local amusement parks, while not as inspiring and not notably less expensive, are easier to reach and have shorter lines. Once again confirming that the happiest place on earth is never far from your own <<

It sounds pretty much like they are done with Disney.

This article is not Disney friendly or for that matter very entertaining to read. I was happy that she did point out how Disney is way over priced.

But she was the one who had to convince he husband to go.

I do think it wasn't a very useful story. Disney took a back seat to the shuttle launch, and only spending two days there for a first visit didn't help either. How could they have gleaned anything educational out of that? It sounds like they visited DAK since they saw the Nemo musical, but did they set foot in Epcot? I rather doubt it.

And I agree, 2 days just isn't close to being enough time to get a handle on what WDW is about.

My boss leaves tomorrow for WDW, mostly all he cares about is the thrill rides, he'd probably have a better time at 6 Flags.

You can see it all in 1 day, but it takes multiple week long trips to truly experience it.

    He will probably be disappointed.
