I'm looking forward to the makeover though, it sounds thorough...not just an overlay. The one thing I hope they keep is the original theme song at the end. It's cute, and would still fit the theme.

They seem to assume that people are too stupid to get a more...esoteric title. How did guests find 'El Rio del Tiempo' all these years? And of course, it involves a story concept where 'something has to be solved' -- and you mean, it isn't interactive? Maybe guests will be able to throw small foam 'street tacos' at Donald to make him behave. Nothing can be left to chance. What would 'Pirates of the Caribbean' have been called today? 'The Pirate Adventure Through Grottos featuring Robotic Pirates'? No more sense of discovery, people, you have to tell people what they're going to do, and then let the 'experience' it. It's like all this 'magical' and 'dreams' -- remember when that was just part of the Disney theme park experience? Now it has to be sold. The 'magic' has to be shoved down people's throats... It reminds me of 'The Great Movie Ride' -- which had originally been called 'Great Moments at the Movies.' Apparently higher-ups felt that guests needed to know that it's a ride. Ok. And adding 'Disney's' to everything... 'Disney's California Adventure Park at Disneyland Resort' -- just so we don't confuse it with something else. And these asinine direct to video movies 'Brother Bear 2' 'Cinderella 3' et al. If something is good in a theme park, it really doesn't matter if it's called 'the' -- people will seek it out and do it. Afterall, what the heck does 'Starbucks' have to do with coffee? I suppose if it were Disney, they would have called them 'Coffee House.' Nothing can be left to chance. You can practically hear Disney Marketeers in the boardroom 'We need a title for this ride that people can understand.' 'Gran Fiesta Tour', someone suggests. 'But they need to know that the characters are in there.' [you know, because you wouldn't want a guest to be pleasantly surprised by anything] 'Okay, let's add 'featuring The Three Caballeros' [Hopefully, guests won't go in expecting to see Steve Martin, Chevy Chase and Martin Short]

Here are some new rethought titles: Big Thunder Mountain Railroad Featuring a Comical Cast of Animals Expedition Everest Featuring the Yeti Primeval Whirl: The Coaster That Spins However I would disagree with this <<And of course, it involves a story concept where 'something has to be solved'>> Isn't conflict center to plot? I can think of a lot of attractions where "something has to be solved": Pirates of the Caribbean - How to escape the pirates (as Walt said "Now you got into this mess by going down a waterfall now how do you suppose we get them out?") Haunted Mansion - How to escape the Stretch Room and one could argue the whole attraction is about trying to leave the mansion itself. Snow White's Scary Adventures - This attraction is entierly about escaping the Witch's clutches. Roger Rabbit's Cartoon Spin - Escape from the weasels. Malestrom - The trolls certainly create conflict, albiet a rather uninteresting one. Now you might say that these attractions conflicts are more subtle than recent attractions. I would disagree with that in regards to Three Caballeros. I doubt there's going to be a 10 minute long preshow video describing that Jose and Panchito are looking for Donald. It's just a thread through the attraction. The Seas with Nemo and Friends ride just put in is like that and in my opinion the story is not that obvious and most guests just assume you're traveling through scenes from the movie. While I would agree the "something goes terribly wrong" plot is overplayed, I certainly do agree that attractions should have storylines.

Maybe there is isolated dialogue from the original film they can use or something?

It's all about synergy, don't you know?
