So let's see ... attractions and characters come to life ... Hey, here's a plot idea. Hundreds of colorfully dressed children of the world form an angry mob and go on a murderous rampage against a spy ring of Disney characters that have infiltrated their ranks. Starring Selena Gomez as Winking Cleopatra.

The first 'Pirates' was terrific. 2 and 3? Eh. Haunted Mansion and The Country Bears movies are both pretty bad.

So it seems that skepticsm is warranted.

Disney's slate in 2012 could look very odd:

    Pirates 5
    Jungle Cruise
    Haunted Mansion
    Magic Kingdom

I really hope that we see flop after flop after flop out the Studio from now on - in the hope that we can get rid of Mister Disney Channel Rich Ross and his High School Musical minions who don't seem to get that it is all about story, stupid. How about some originality?

My understand of the first Iron Man movie is that the plot was thin and the actors were coming up with a lot of it as they were shooting, so don't discount Jon's ability to make a thin idea work.

Having said that, this doesn't excite me one iota.
