It would make sense either way, since they now have an amazing new CGI staff, so they would focus on that. But at the same time, a big reason for the switch was to compete with Pixar, since they weren't getting along. I really hope that they go back to the traditional films, because they seem to have a warm feeling that has yet to be completely found in the CGI ones.

I'm excited that Lassiter will be overseeing the animation studio and consulting with imagineering, but... he's just one guy and Disney is a corporation with a bunch of bean counters and lawyers. I really hope Pixar can bring a spark to Disney animation, rather than Disney animation snuffing the life out of Pixar with a billion sequels. I just don't want to lose that Pixar-ness.
