    I don't think the entire resort has been converted yet. Danyoung said the real Port Orleans was still operating normally also.

    Yea, how come. My parents stayed at POP on year and it was fine. Not as nice of atmosphere as at POR but OK.

    But...I found my new dream hotel..the GF. We went to tea there and I just fell for this place!!! Maybe someday.

    FenwayGirl, In the meantime try Port Orleans Riverside. Most on here will agree that it is one of the best places to stay of the moderates. It has lovely gardens and enough foliage to make you feel secluded. It is quiet and relaxing and is a welcome change from the hectic pace of the parks. It also has boat service to DtD. Just a thought.

We have been going to WDW since 1981 and have had the opportunity to stay in Deluxe, but we now choose the Value resorts as we usually travel with lots of grandkids and really don't spend time at the resorts. Plus...gives us more cash to spend on the kiddies :)
