    Although I suppose a lot of people are like me, when I send mail on the road I just make it out at night and give it to the front desk in the morning.

    I agree a postcard is just a little old fashion for most people nowadays. My wife still sends one to her Mother, and one to her Brother, everytime we visit. We have sent them out from several locations in the parks early in the trip. Most of the time we beat the postcards home. I have a feeling they are not collected on a daily bases in the parks.

I enjoy doing that, it just makes the process a little more "Disney special" to use them. I never knew about the mailboxes in the other "lands" of the MK though.

    As bobbelee said, the postcards did not have a WDW postmark. I was always disappointed in that. You would have thought that for all the 'magic' Disney tried to create in their parks, they would have tried to get a special postage cancellation.

    Well said. It's probably a combination of the times we live in and the times in which we text, etc., instead of write.

    That could be a reason, but in this case I truly doubt it. If indeed that would be cause enough, then they would remove all the trash cans too.
