We haven't even gotten around to accepting the Muppets as part of the Disney family, let alone the Marvel creatures.

Some fans may not understand this or even care. Plus we realize these are business decisions made by a business. But on the other side of the coin you have fans who were originally attracted to Disney for reasons that were far afield from anything Marvel comics might have to offer. Merging all these other creations with the magic of the mouse just dilutes the magic and the original Disney philosphies become lost along the way. As many have already said, Disney just isn't Disney any longer and that's very sad.
