We've heard about some of the gifts and activities that will be a part of D23's Flowers and Fireworks event at Walt Disney World on May 15-16, 2010. In addition to what's already been announced expect to receive a previously unreleased DVD of the Flower and Garden Festival, a wine glass, a Twinings Tea purse, a bulb from the Electrical Water Pageant and a firework show on a barge as a part of the fireworks presentation. See below for more event details or to register.

Actually, they did a similar promotion with MSEP at DL back in the 1990s when that parade was supposedly "glowing" away forever. (What a joke!)

Which makes me think giving away bulbs only ensures that the Electrical Water Pageant will never "glow" away.

It would be nice if they gave a new offering for the EWP, but I suspect they are just updating to more efficent lighting. There's got to be a gazillion lights in that show.

How about watching the expression on peoples faces as you sit at a table outside of Aloha Isle, consuming a Pineapple Dole Whip Float, while carring on a conversation with your Figment plush, as to whether or not Walt would have suceeded with Disneyland were it not for the genius of Roy Disney working behind the scenes.

That is, if there were/are any tickets left after Disney made sure all the 'social media' sites got at least one representative in to take pics and blog about how great it will be.

Sounds oddly enough like a lunch with the Spirit.

I find adults who are into plush a little odd.

And I am really (truly) only intimidating to folks in positions of power (and obviously not just Disney) ... to most folks, I'm just one 'wittle teddy bear!
