    :)

What I don't understan is a temporary name. Unless they are just going to be serving slop there until the new named establishment opens. Also what will the new menue be like, when will it go into effect. This all seens rather strange to me, but heck what do I know.

I had not read this...how are they going to pull that off while they are constructing ? Whose menu are they going to serve, and where ? I can't believe they can't close and rehab the entire place in 3 months - rather than gerry rig something less than optimal..but that is just my opinion.

I imagine they are going to serve a temporary menu; probably a rip off of Mama Melrose's ;-). The restuarant isn't closing until Spring 2008 for rehab, and expected to reopen in Fall 2008. So Alfredos will leave, take their photos and probably some other decor with them, Disney will slap something up to replace it and then operate for another 6 months or so. Everything you expect from a 3rd tier CP restaurant, huh.

You're such a food snob, dad! ;) I really enjoy Olive Garden - the Taste of Italy combination rocks!! But then I don't have an "authentic" Italian restaurant to compare it with, so you could be right. . .

Next time you are in Chicago / New York / New Jersey and yes St Louis - check out the Italian neighborhoods for some real Italian food....oh and by the way, usually for less money than Microwave Garden.
