It's a very neat little show (about 3-5 min long) with some very well done effects. It's a must-do at ElecTronica, for sure (and even a little better after a glowjito or two).

Yes, they have been still running the Tron: Legacy sneak preview. I wonder if they'll change up the 3-D sneak preview at some point to help freshen up ElecTRONica. They did announce on the Disney Parks Blog a couple of weeks ago that they would be introducing some new things to ElecTRONica in the coming weeks. Since it has now been extended to next spring, they definitely need to freshen it up.

Re post 10, hmmm, not sure if Letterman could do much for ElecTRONica! LOL

People seem to really enjoy the "street party" atmosphere of ElecTRONia, and it offers a completely different type of experience than Cars Land will or any of the other upcoming changes to DCA. And, it seems to have been running long enough and retained enough popularity to rule out a one-season fad. Why should they get rid of it?

I love the atmosphere it brings to that area. But the Tron theme will start to get old soon, if it hasn't already.

For some reason they're still showing the 'sneak peek' at the film, even though it was released on DVD/Blu-Ray months ago. They did freshen up the Laserman show with some very cool new effects, but at the same time, they seem to be out of new ideas for what to do with the experience on a whole. Now that it's summer and it gets dark later, there isn't much time to experience The Grid, and Laserman is down to two shows, which are about 30 minutes apart. I'm sure that they will have more flexibility once the days start to get shorter again in the fall, but it just seems a little desperate now.

While Glow Fest was best experienced after dark, you didn't feel like you were missing out on it if you saw it while it was still light. The opening show that was performed twice nightly was 45-50 minutes long, and incredibly choreographed the entire way through. The only other attraction/experience in DLR with that kind of runtime is Aladdin, which most people set aside a big chunk of the day for; and the Glow Fest show was just a small part of the overall experience.

While the do the ElecTRONica show more frequently (I think they're up to 3 or 4 shows daily), it is also significantly shorter, at about 10 minutes. While also very well done, it's just a scope that can't compare to what it replaced. Add in a lot of Ekert talking up ElecTRONica and why we should visit, and it's just a strange show.

I will give them a lot of credit for it though, since they have done a really good job of constantly changing the choreography for it. The general sequence is the same as always, but each part varies significantly. I've seen at least 4-5 completely different routines, and they've all been very well done.

While it is neat to see that they keep changing it on a regular basis (it seems like any given routine only lasts 2-4 weeks), the whole concept of ElecTRONica is already feeling very tired. The cast is giving it their all, but guests just don't seem nearly as excited by it now as they were last fall, or by Glow Fest last summer.

I think this is a great theme for a party that could easily allow for some of the lighthearted, whimsical and fun elements that made Glow Fest much more appealing to me than ElecTRONica has been. Last summer Glow Fest had me running down to the parks about every other weekend because I loved it so much. I don't usually go anywhere near that much in the summertime. I don't hit ElecTRONica nearly as much and a lot of my visits have been mainly to get video documentation of it.
