    <p>The Orlando Sentinel is reporting Disney is nearing their goal is 1,000,000 volunteers for this year's Give a Day, Get a Disney Day program and it's possible the program would stop at that point.</p>

    Didn't they go past the 1 million cutoff for the birthday promotion last year? I guess it's easier for them to justify keeping that one going, since you can't control your birthday (and it only got up there near the end of the year, not the beginning of March), but we've seen them extend promotions before. I think it would be a good idea to keep it going, even if they scale it back some, since they already have all the stuff in the parks for it. It would be silly to keep that going and running the commercials 10 and a half months after the last volunteers signed up.

    I agree Ferret. They spent a lot of money on this promotion. It would be way to soon to end it. Besides I think Disney will end up with a tidy sum in the Mouse3's pocket, as popular as it seems to be. Not to mention all the positive PR that comes with it.
