    <p>The <i>Orlando Sentinel</i> evaluates whether Walt Disney World's conventional transport systems, such as buses, ferries and monorails should be considered common carriers. Common carriers are held to much stricter safety standards than other businesses under the law.</p>

    I'd say they are doing whatever they can to try and prevent themselves from paying when they kill/maim/injure people because they have the money and power to do so.

    I'd say they've done a great job in cutting safety corners ''in order to save time, energy and expense'' as you put it!
