My guess is that mom and dad touched the cheese, realized that it was really hot, and wanted to make a buck. I do feel bad for the kid. It's a shame that a trip like that had to be ruined (presumably), and that his parents don't seem to have any sense. That could lead to all sorts of other issues down the road...

Even if he did try to drink it, which is exactly what the location of the burns looks like, to cause those injuries, the cheese was served way too hot. Looks like one of those brilliant, under paid food CM's nuked the tub of cheese and just served it. And as we all know, hot cheese stays hot for quite some time, and sticks to the skin. Parents negligence, maybe....Disney's negligence, looks like it. Dumb four year old? Nope, just a little kid acting his age. Now, the stupid lady putting the McDonald's coffee between her legs, I'll still call an idiot, LOL
