    Yes a cost and redundancy cutting measure to be sure.

    No Biggie.

    Now when they tried to push Global SQS, that cost them millions and was a logistical nightmare before its plug was pulled.

    This particular issue? Yawnners.

    Al Weiss was President of WDW. He is loved by many, much the same way Paul Pressler was loved when he was President of DL.

    Al Weiss did a much better job with WDW than Pressler did with DLR. Don't put them both in the same category. During the decade that Pressler and Harriss were running DLR, the only place that still felt like it had the old DIsney "magic" was WDW. Weiss was in charge there at the time.
