He was a real master at what he did, and I doubt there were any others that could do the same things that he managed to look real. I hope that the technique of matte painting doesn't get lost with CGI, but I fear that it may be an amazing art form that will fade away with time. Ellenshaw was a true master of his work and will be missed.
