I certainly hope this is just one of those "bad moments" during pre-production ... that does not represent how Mr. Hanks pulls off Walt. I seriously would like to know why the casting department did not consider Jean Dujardin for the role of Walt. He certainly would have pulled Walt off better than Tom Hanks: http://www.cinemaseries.es/wp-...tist.jpg I can only think of two reasons to not choose Jean. Unable to pull off a convincing American accent. Or unavailable due to other commitments.

It's already been proven Jean can dance - as shown in The Artist. Now if Warner Brothers would think about it .. before Jean gets too old ... that would nice.

He certainly wasn't the first person that came to mind to play Walt in his older years (actually, I can't think of anyone "born" to play that part as Walt was such a unique mid-western guy), but it'll be fun to see what he does with it.
