Originally Posted By jonvn The thing is that because of things said, such as "it must have been terrible," that implies the person never actually was there. This question was never actually answered in the affirmative. So, the assumption is that they have not, and are trashing the place simply to trash it.

Here is a comment from disneywatcher that leads me to believe that they have ridden SSL. (from july 17th, 2001) "I guess as an indication of my or anyone's different perceptions of things, or, more important -- certainly in my case -- the sense that DCA is such a weakling of a Disney theme park that everything within it has to be graded on a very generous curve, I've never been as disappointed with Superstar Limo as others have been. But I have to admit the insertion of more Disney cliches (or characters) may offset the original attempt to make DCA very hip and edgy (I've often wondered if Eisner's supposed desire to make the new park more to his wife's liking was one reason a more home-spun, Snow-White-and-lollipops approach was downplayed early on)."
Originally Posted By jonvn "I've never been as disappointed with Superstar Limo as others have been. So, again, my belief at this point is that this person has not been there.

Sort of like the various, uh, oddballs who continue to defend DCA, perhaps no less fervently than those who personally dreamt up and developed the park.

Originally Posted By jonvn "After all these years, it's beyond "duh" to even raise and argue the point" Not really. Not when you speak the way you do. You give the impression of never being there. And you have flat out never stated you have, so that means you have not. Talk about oddballs....trashing a place for years you've never even stepped foot into.
Originally Posted By jonvn "I first rode the tacky Superstar Limo ride in February 2001, during the Passholder preview week. " Then why did you say it "Must have been" whatever? So, you are now saying you went once in February of 2001. Ever go again? Did you ride it ever a second time? When?

It was pretty funny as far as such things go. Had dancing pigs. There were a few little issues with it, but overall, yet one more thing that got overly criticized for what was wrong with it.
