Stitch Kingdom has posted an extensive report on last night's D23 event at the Magic Kingdom that includes some interesting tidbits on the Magic Kingdom's Fantasyland Makeover from a Q&A with Walt Disney Imagineering.

Oh---plus the "new" Dumbo ride which has been in the park since opening day and the "new" Barnstormer ride that's been there since the 90s. Stellar expansion, I must say.

(They think Aurora's gonna be spending as much as 10 minutes with each kid at the Magical Sweet Sixteen Birthday Card Adventure sponsored by Hallmark. 10 minutes!? They gonna offer Fastpass for these meet and greets?)

May be I'm reading to much into this Leo I hope so. They said

    >> He then walked us through the Prince Eric / Ariel experience which leads up the ‘E ticket’ attraction Under the Sea: Journey of the Little Mermaid and offered some concept artwork of the dark ride. <<

It's essentially going to be built into the overhanging castle cliff/bluff structure, aka, grotto - which is probably some old DLP concept they originally took it from in the first place and henceforth imposed it on the world in its many forms.
