The previous Monster Sound Show with Chevy Chase was FAR superior... it (gasp) actually showed how some sound effects were made and (double gasp) involved the audience. Sounds Dangerous should be replaced with something like that.

They're just making it seasonal - like the Wonders of Life went seasonal before they shut it down for good without a replacement. So, while I agree that it should be closed and replaced with something new, I don't think it's a benefit to the guests to just have an attraction closed most of the time. Especially in a park like DHS which already is lacking in things to do. (And for what it's worth, I thought it was ok the first time I saw it. Clearly not nearly as good as the old show, but not horrible.)

I removed my headphones to listen to the audience. Not a sound. It was dreadful.

We rearly missed it. The new one came we saw it once. We did go into the wait area a couple of years ago to give it another try but just couldn't make ourselves go in. My husband said he would rather sit on a bench and watch people yell @ their kids.

Regardless of how some people may feel about it, having it opened is better than another closed attraction.

What made Disney think that this old gag would have any longevity? While I don't like to see show buildings sitting quiet, I really won't miss this show.
