Sponsorship includes attraction's first-ever illuminated marquee.</p>

Some sponsors that would fit thematically HM - Forest Lawn and Rose Hills Pirates - Trojans Splash - Bath and Body SM - Virgin Galatic Matterhorn - Dick's Sporting Goods Any other suggestions?

First they go and fix the flume to where the boats don't bottom out any more, then they add in Disney characters in the Mary Blair style that completely fit in with their surroundings, and now they're going to COMPLETELY RUIN the ride with a LIGHTED SIGN? That's it - I'm NEVER going to go back to Disneyland, cuz they keep RUINING things with their new-fangled ideas!!!

The elevator ride system in ToT was developed with the help of Otis. An attorney at the law firm I work for represents Otis. She said that when Disney came to them with the idea for ToT, they went, "You want to do WHAT?", as they had spent many years developing fast, but, smooth elevators and inspiring the public to feel comfortable and safe in them. (In one of the downtown LA office towers that I used to work in, I sometimes felt like I was in ToT and wondered if I'd reach the bottom in one piece!)
