    Plus, it's generally accepted that while Walt came up with the idea for Mickey Mouse and probably did some rough concepts, Ub Iwerks' character genius was the real force behind Mickey's famous look as we know him today.

    If he'd truly done his homework, he'd see that it's obvious. As well, a very quick answer to his questions about it can be had through Dave Smith at the archives. He is 'very' available for things like this.

    This needs to be added to snopes.com :)

That guy must be a moron to believe that there would be a news reel of Walt with it in the background, since very little footage was taken from within the studios (other than the occasional early Alice short and The Reluctant Dragon) until the Disneyland TV show, which didn't come around until almost 30 years after this drawing supposedly did. And just because he owns the original drawing (which is still very doubtful), he would have no claim over the copyright. That is reserved for the drawing's artist, who would have been Walt (or possibly Ub), who then gave it to the studio. Why do people always think that they can get away with trying to screw with others. I really wish that people like this would get punished more than the standard court fees.
