Disney has announced starting July 3rd the Tangled Meet and Greet will no longer feature Flynn Rider. Rapunzel will still be a part of it. They also will be adding additional opportunities for guests to meet her at Fairytale garden. In addition, Disney has announced the Firehouse Gift Station will be closing on July 10th. They will, however, continue to collect patches from local firehouses at City Hall for display when the Firehouse reopens in its future state. No dates nor speific details have been given on what's planned for the location.

So much for that lame argument if they're deciding to lay off poor Flynn...

Nothing I would buy really, but was very popular with "First Responders".
I am expecting it to become a permanent Pin Trading location or something equally unique.

    AND fit the theme.

I am interested in seeing what takes it's place. Maybe a dedicated Vinylmation shop.

I didn't believe it until I saw it myself. Paul Pressler wanted to do the same thing at Disneyland in California, but all the cranky APers kicked up a fuss when he replaced the Crystal Arcade with a mountain of plush. So he contented himself with the MK by filling in half of Center Street and turning everything into a retail location.

    Even the Cinema!

The western side of Center Street at DL was filled in years ago with seating for the adjacent restaurant. It's crammed with tables and umbrellas and frankly isn't the most inviting place to eat. It was far more attractive when it was an open side street.

On the opposite side there is a little open market that sells fruit where the flowers used to be.
