Anyone who has been keeping their eyes open at the DLR lately cannot help but notice that there is a LOT going on, just not with that much fanfare. But when it all comes together in June, it should be a pretty big story. Reimagined DCA, revitalized hotel, neat 'n pretty Disneyland (looking the best it has been since 2005)-- it all adds up to the real story coming out of Disney Parks and Resorts in 2012.

Reminds me of how publishers thought Americans would not understand the name of(ironically)the first Harry Potter book and thus changed it from the original "Philosopher's Stone"(as it is known in the rest of the world)to the "Sorcerer's Stone". Dumb and stupid. For the sake of Americans, I refer to book two("The Chamber of Secrets")as, "The Room of Things That Cannot Be Discussed". You know, so their brains won't explode.

It is "Carsland" because the movie it is based on is "CARS," not Radiator Springs. Further, there is a pretty compelling reason to use the "land" suffix. Just look across the esplanade for the answer to that one. And Carsland is a really good choice for a new land. The two films combined have earned more than $1.2 billion world wide. Merchandise for the first film alone topped $8 billion as of early 2011.
