I also remember that there was talk that Unite Here Local 11 has refused to sit at the table and negotiate with Disney. My question is if Disney is so horrible how is it that the other unions representing workers at the resort aren't speaking out against Disney's actions? I get the impression that Roseanne is either uninformed or deliberately oblivious to what's really going on with the hotel union.

It just seemed to ramble along with claims that are just grabbing at straws for attention, much like the entire campaign. How long has it been since their contract expired? Wasn't it in early 2008? You'd think that at some point these union members might start demanding that the union actually do something productive for them. There were discussions going on long before the expiration (I remember hearing rumblings for 12-18 months), so it's been a long time since they've done much. Yes, there's something to be said for sticking to your guns, but there's also something to be said for actually getting work done.

Poor Roseanne, she's gotten to that nearly-dotty stage in an aging actresses life where she probably really believes the approved leftist talking points and buzzwords she is saying. Also, the tank top isn't working for her.
