Have you seen this yet? Over 400,000 have since it was posted on Wednesday. A couple of DJs went to Disneyland and got Tigger to do the Cat Daddy. Eeyore is featured as well.

I suspect that either the the two DJs are friends with the cast members in the costumes or this was staged by Disney as a promo for the DJs radio station.

I'm sure there are some folks who would howl about Tigger being in themed Critter Country and doing a contemporary dance craze with some teenage kids. But I'm reminded of the old Wonderful World of Color footage from 1962 showing Goofy doing the Twist with kids on the parade route, or that Golden Horseshoe show from the same era where Annette dressed up as an Indian Maiden and did the Twist on stage to a rockin' version of Buffalo Roundup.

I think this footage is legit, not staged by stuffed shirts in TDA trying to do bad viral videos. When TDA tries to do something "viral" it ends up forced and corny like this Soundsational Flash Mob from last week... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v...kk_j4SeE

The camera happened to be running at just the right time to get the whole thing. Of course, they knew that they were going to try to teach Tigger to dance, so they could have planned on recording the whole thing, but in my experience the whole setup seems a little strange.

As for the time period, I feel like it's a little different than the shows. Even things like Celebrate, which had all sorts of characters dancing to a bunch of out-of-theme music, have been in the parks recently. However, I do see a difference between seeing a character in a parade or show, and meeting them in their 'native' environment elsewhere in the park. I'm fine with it happening, but it doesn't seem like the woods of Critter Country is the best place for it.

She ultimately wants to be a princess in a parade or show, not a stuffed character, but she has to take whichever character is available to her until a spot she wants opens up.

The person inside Tigger could be in the same situation. Pooh was not that good a dancer and Eeyore was just okay. I would not say that is strange at all that Tigger is a good dancer, when DL employes so many performers in various areas.

This doesn't seem fake from a DL production stand point. It seems like the DJs went to park to try to get some footage of them teaching a character to dance. I think the characters were just having fun with it-it has to be much more fun playing along with something like that than standing for pics and autographs for an hour.
