The National Hurricane Center downgraded the chance of the disturbance I was referring to yesterday near Nicaragua. As I mentioned yesterday, upper level winds are not favorable for development currently so the system doesn't really have a chance to get its act together so to speak. That said, those winds may become more favorable towards the end of the weekend should this disturbance continue to hang on we may revisit Monday morning. Since we don't post a Saturday and Sunday weather briefing for Laughing Place - should something ever become active in the tropics throughout the season make sure you follow me on Twitter (@WDW_Weather) and I'll fill you in on what's going on.

As for Orlando Disney weather this weekend - more of the same old same old can be expected! What can be expected is a gradual warming trend as we head through the weekend so by the time Sunday rolls around high temperatures will once again be in the mid 90s. I'd expect a high in the low 90s for Friday and potentially Saturday, but those hot temperatures will hang on into next week.

Rain chances also remain low for the foreseeable future. Because it's Central Florida and localized sea breeze phenomenon and daily daytime heating happen every day - you can never rule out an afternoon thunderstorm this time of year but for the short term the atmosphere is pretty dry in the grand scheme of things. So on weekends like this, I give ya a good twenty percent chance of showers.
