    The October 9th <I>LA Times</I> reports that Haim Saban is in talks to purchase the muppets from struggling EM.TV. Saban made approximatley 1.5 million dollars from the sale of Fox Family Worldwide to The Walt Disney Company.

    Glad you agree. If enough people from Laughing Place (and Muppet Central where people are starting to have a change of heart) could write convincing letters to Disney (like the four-page one I wrote on the 14th), maybe we could make a difference...or not. Worth a shot! There's been so much talk about a possible deal between the two companies, and it'd be stupid if Disney backed away now.
