    Thoughts?

LadyandtheTramp, I've never been in July, but that suprised me about the other days being avaiable.

I've been checking every day to see if I can get a better day (earlier in my vacation for 1 of the visits) but so far no cancellations.

I guess your answer is, can you get a dinner reservation now? If you can't, then adding 2 credits for lunch might not make much difference in terms of getting reservations.

Maybe my menu selections have been poor. What are some of the favorite entrees of the people here who love the place?

For an entree I would either get the prime rib sandwich (which they don't have anymore) or the mushroom filet depending on how hungry I am.

But I haven't gone in a few years because of the craziness surrounding the restaurant.

My favorite Epcot restaurant is still Nine Dragons followed closely by restaurant Marrakesh and Biergarten (though Biergarten has gotten a little pricey for a buffet where you sit at picnic tables!).

I know it would probably make sense to sign up for the dreaded DDP, but so far I've refused to do that because I hate what it has done to making reservations at the WDW table service places.
