    Yay! Now, the word has it the slabs have to remain for the paying customers, but atleast there wont be any more of those dreadful things.

    I don't think we were ever in danger of getting anymore of the dreadful things and I do hope that now that sales have dwindled they will at least reposition them and open up the entrance plaza.

    The sheets of metal have to be displayed somewhere on disney property. Same terms of conditions with the bricks, they can be moved but have to be on display somewhere, even backstage ;-)

    I would rather than move those faces to other areas, maybe near the new special events pavilion.

    wasn't there a statute of time on the bricks ? I seem to remember a 'guarantee' of some sort for like 10 years of display.....would have to look for old paperwork...

    I never bought into the granite slab deal......

    It's all pointless until they move the LaL display stones. That is the source of the visual intrusion that bothers so many people, not the kiosk. I just don't think they will spend the money to move them, but heck what do I know.

    But I think there will be some reworking in the area.

    And they do have to display them ... where is anyone's guess.

    I bought a stone in 1994 (a few months after they started selling them). Supposedly, they had to display them in a public area for 10 years. Well, I haven't been able to find my stone since at least 2000 ... I know it's been moved, but at this point I don't care ... I've also grown smarter and regret the purchase anyway.

    "Move a Legacy". The Entrance area is a good location. Maybe outside the gates so a guest don't feel obligated to pay to see 'em.
    My wife and I got one years ago when we had extra $$ before kids. It's been a long time since there was a cast member at the locator computer to help find it.

    So it is not just me then? We also bought a paving stone and it was located at the edge of the path between the ferry and the entrance.

    A number of years back (at least 7) many of those pavers were removed for the work on the bus roadway, and supposedly all were put back ...

    I have never found my paving stone since then!
