We are about to celebrate TDS' 10th fabulous first years.. and TDL's 30th only a year and a half away.. I just felt like reminicing a bit. So if you love the Disney parks as much as I do, then grab a kleenex and let ride this 8-minute time machine. Enjoy...

Do you have to question everything I post? I knew when I posted it that you'd make it a point to comment. You know, you don't have to comment negatively on every single post that others make.

It's borderline neurotic on your part. Really. As you can see, other do notice the same idiotic nitpicking as well.

One positive thing about you SuperFry.. most times, you are good for a belly laugh.

Although whether you want to wait six hours for a show is another matter!

20 mins before showtimes. But since Davewasbaloo is more concerned about his children.. he needs to know that putting children on shoulder is strictly prohibited at TDR parks. So arriving early for a lagoon show when you have kids in tow may need to be a small priority and sacrifice.
In regards to other stage shows.. again you may have to invest a little time.. like arriving 1 hour before show time to stand in line for the show.. and then, when seating begins at about 35 mins before show time, you will spend some of that time comfortably seated until the show begins.

But one thing that will blow davewasbaloo away is the exhuberant quality and over the top amazing theming of TDS park. Even TDL is a far better version of the MK at WDW.. so yes, in regards to quality and overall operational efficiency... YES, Davewasbaloo will be impressed.
As for a Harbor view at the Miracosta.. well if you can afford it, go for it. You could enjoy a full or partial view of the lagoon and be farther back than guests at floor level.. but at least you might be able to get a better elevated view of the lagoon shows.. but not be able to appreciate the smaller details than can be enjoyed when you are closer to the water. But that's my opinion on this issue since I do enjoy the live entertainment at TDR which is 2nd to NONE when compared to the other Disney parks.

well I cannot speak of Tokyo, but I do know many non Disney parks with better quality entertainment than the US and French Disney parks (In WDW's case, that is not difficult).

And it's not uncommon knowledge that even the TDR entertainment surpasses that of the other Disney parks in the US and Paris, with HKDL coming close to that same level of TDR.

Come to think of it, there's only ONE non-Disney park that compares favorably to TDR in the level of live entertainment and that is Universal Studios Japan in Osaka. Their live shows, parades, and special event offerings are top notch. Their Starlight Parade is an impressive effort similar to Dreamlights and much farther advanced over Fantillusion, SpectroMagic and the MSEP.. which is why my respect for the entertainment divisions at WDW and DLRP is nill.
