It profiles the lives of several USNA grads from McCain's era who were prominent in the Washington scene during the Reagan administration. I found it to be fairly enlightening, moreso than a biography that just focuses on a single person. Being able to compare and contrast individuals who might appear to be "cut from the same cloth" was an interesting approach. I've also read McCain's book, "Faith of My Fathers." It was a good read, too, but entirely biased towards McCain's point of view and a vehicle for self-promotion more than anything else.
