Our issue is whether to give up one day at Disnyland/DCA to go to Knott's, or to say there is not as much for our 3, 3 and 1 year olds to do there (although our 6 year old might want to try some roller coasters. Which is our better choice - a 5th day at DL/DCA or give that up to take our young children to Knott's with their cousins?

Don't know how tall your 6 year old is, but the height requirements are a little taller at Knotts then Disney and the roller coasters are much more intense. You could join them for half a day and then head back over to DL for the remainder of the day.

And I for one would not miss a chance to get some "cousining" in. There is nothing like having fun with your cousins.
