There are three sixes of lockers, at $4, $5, and $6/day. You need to get one as soon as you enter, as they frequently sell out.

A little light flashes on your locker, you put your stuff in, push the lighted buttn, and your stuff is locked up. You can return throughout the day to add/remove stuff from the locker.

Based on past experience, I'd advise getting your stuff out of the locker well before closing time as it gets rather chaotic once everyone descends on the locker area.

The extra large Lockers are located outside the security area, at the Picnic Area near the Mickey and Friends Tram loading (west side). These lockers are mainly designed to have folks place food and drink to have lunch at the park.

There are two sets of Lockers located in the Security area of the Main Entrance Plaza, but outside of the turnstiles. One set is next to Guest Services, just west of the Disneyland turnstiles and the lockers. The second set is next to the Will Call Windows and Guest Relations, east of the DCA turnstiles.

In the park, Disneyland has one large set of lockers on Main Street, east side about half way down (Near the Market House).

DCA has its lockers just past the main turnstiles on the west side, next to the restrooms and the stroller rental location.

All these lockers are designed for multiple entry. You pay at a rental point with cash or a credit card (I think the fee is from $6 to $14, depending on the size), you get a 6 digit code to allow the multiple entries.

There is one more set of lockers, and these are designed for Grizzly River Run at DCA. The use is free, usually for 90 minutes, though sometimes they raise the length if the ride has extra long lines. If you go over the time, they will want a fee before you can access the lockers, and the lockers are only valid for one time use. If you want to ride again, you can just rent another locker.
