We had a great flight out of Seattle but didn't arrive @ John Wayne until about 10:40 p.m. We grabbed a taxi to the Disneyland Hotel (thanks to other posters I knew that we could get a flat rate of $35). This was less than taking Super Shuttle. I was worried that because we were arriving so late we wouldn't get a very good room. We had booked a resort view concierge room through AAA. I guess I had no need to worry because when I checked us in we were upgraded to a suite on the 12th floor of the Bonita Tower!!!! We had a fantastic view of the pool as well as Downtown Disney, the Matterhorn and Splash Mountain. We also loved the sound of the waterfalls out our window. DD and her friend were blown away by the suite. They had their own bedroom with 2 queen beds, TV armoir with drawers, comfy chair and balcony. DH and I took the other room with 2 comfy chairs, armoir with tv, and a sleeper sofa. Our room also had a wetbar area, tons of closet space, bathroom with shower, tub, and sink, plus another sink outside of the bathroom. It was more than enough room for the 4 of us! We left the girls in the room and DH and I went down to the Lost Bar for a relaxing beer before going to bed. This gave us some time to let it soak in that we were away from work and home ready to have some fun.
