I was really nervous to get on the plane, and was very happy to be in CA. With all the commotion on the plane, I wanted to ask to be let off. I remember keeping the TV shut off that morning, I couldn't bear to watch the coverage. I'm sorry you didn't get more WDW time! Hard to believe, I think that is the last really major US crash.

We have relied on the printed word from newspapers for centuries until they lost their creditability. I still think Spirit is creditable, and why would his friend make up a story.

In this case, from reading the descriptions and from what I know of boats including the pontoon boats, yes, I think the people overreacted to an emergency that wasn't there. I also think Disney could have put a skipper with a bit more experience behind the wheel. I need to hurry up and retire, so I can move to Florida and drive Disney boats!!!

I got a piping hot cup of coffee from starbucks, went outside, got blown by a gust of wind and spilled it on myself, and it froze solid on my jacket in an instant.
