For France, the Grand Marnier shushie was the drink of choice. However, by that point I was pretty far along (we started in Mexico), so I was splitting drinks with a friend. She and another friend went up to order for that round, and instead decided to flirt with the 'cute French guy' and ask him what to get.

My brother stuck to the list and got the slushie. There was nothing bad about the glass of wine that I had, but by no means did it come anywhere near the deliciousness of the slushie, which my brother let me try. It just tasted like a Creamsicle. Every chance I get, I make sure to remind my friend about how she had to go and mess every thing up. Grr. : )

It's definitely on my to-do list for the marathon weekend in January...though probably only one, since I'm not sure how much I'll want to drink after running a marathon and a half...(that, and the Rosa Regale in Italy, which we actually did have, but it was just that good!)

But speaking of orange slushies, have you guys had the one in China? It's called an Orange Smoothie, but it more like a slushy. It's non-alcoholic, but it's wonderfully refreshing.

Also, I don't know how many of you are tequila/margarita people, but you really need to try out La Cava in the Mexico pavilion. I went there with two friends last time I was there, and by the time we left we had a group of about 15 headed to Jellyrolls to continue the fun after Illuminations.

Some highlights there are the Cucumber Margarita, the Blood Orange Margarita, and the tequila flight(if you like shots, they even give you a shot of salsa to finish up with!).

But by far the best drink there, IMO, is the Avacado Margarita. Yes, it sounds weird, but it's light and very refreshing!

Inside are seriously the best I've ever had. The variety and the amazing flavor they have really make them worth paying a little more. They're like 13 bucks at La Cava, but definitely worth it.

This sounds simply horrible. Do you mean salsa, as in that tomato-y stuff that you dip your chips in? Great for chips, but as a shot? Blech!!

I don't do tequila at all, and I'm kinda bummed about that, as everyone has said good things about La Cava.

It's not thick or chunky or anything, but yes. It's real, honest to god salsa. And when taken after 3 shots of tequila it's an AWESOME taste, and a very interesting combination. I highly recommend it.

That's a bummer. Tequila is my favorite. But you don't even like it mixed? Because there are certain margaritas you can barely taste it.

From the outside La Cava looks small but is surprisingly bigger once you step inside!
Has anybody tried the jalapeno margarita?
