Originally Posted By Doobie Mickey did a "slapping" move that was more than inappropriate, that was the biggest one. Also tearing off Mickey's classic clothes while saying something about how old or tired those clothes were. Also, Mickey doing hip hop in general, while not inappropriate, is not a good idea, IMHO. Didn't see Toy Story Playland - that may have made the list. I really didn't have any other big disappointments. As I said in the article, Summer Nightastic wasn't even that big of a disappointment, but I wanted 5 of each. Doobie.

Was he slapping an inappropriate body part? I'm just trying to visualize what was so objectionable. Now, I heard the audio from this show, and some of the gansta slang was totally not cool, IMO. And I guess in general I agree that innocent little Mickey doesn't need to be made into a street thug.
Originally Posted By Doobie Yes, I forgot about the slang. We talked about this for 2 or 3 podcasts and I got it all out of my system so I've forgotten alot of it by now. I do remember one line (I think it involved alcohol) was changed. But anyway, as for slapping. There's probably a name for the dance but I'm just not hip enough. But you stand and make a slapping motion simulating slapping someone in the behind in front of you. Please don't admin me Doobie.

The hourly capacity is less than half of a fantasyland dark ride, so waits for Slinky Dog are often 60 minutes for an attraction that is 10-20 in other parks. The Parachutes are a different decore for the Jumping Jelly fish, but each chute accommodates 6. Waits are 60-90 minutes for this. they have already had to wall off a lot of the decore because of broken pieces and they changed the flooring last month because people were getting hurt falling over (Disney have had an operational park in Paris for 18 years now). and it struggle in the wet and cold, and ruins the sightlines in Frontierland and Moteurs Action. RC Racer is a 90 min wait for a 1 minute (litterly) ride. You must be over 4 and a half feet to ride and under 6ft2, and it is less. It is also the first attraction Disney has made that I cannot fit on (but that is not why I am angry). It is a very cluttered area, and the Rex meet and greet statue keeps getting broken. The attractions struggle in the rain and cold, and they are open to the elements all the time (in DLP the Tea cups are under a glass canopy at least). There are two positive things I can say about it. It has a unique musical score. and, and, and, oh ya, it's nice to have some greenry and stuff to explore in the Studios. But they really dropped the ball on this all around. So tacky theming, low capacity carnival rides, external attractions in a hard winter environment, and ruined sight lines in the rest of the park. All for only about 20% less the cost of putting in something like Midway Mania or something better.
