I think that is a large part of why so many of us clammored for the film to go to DVD.... not to mention that it was one of the most PIRATED VHS's out there and brought prices of well over $100 on eBay for an authentic copy.....which most folks bought, had a copy made, and then re-sold the original.

    A great peice of music that sends chills up my back when I hear it.

    I have to agree about the theme song to Scarecrow. I loved it! Ok, it's not Davy Crockett, but it's still fairly catchy. I'm surprised that it hasn't been remade again, like Zorro and Robin have. Given Disney's penchant for remakes, this one seems like good source material for another Jerry Bruckheimer action/adventure flick.

    I like the theme song, but as someone who never saw Dr. Syn as a kid, I still really enjoyed watching the first episode last night. I'll grant you, it probably won't get a lot of time in my DVD player, but a combination of charm and a retro feel to the filmmaking really endeared me to it.
