LP LOGIN BROKEN

    Several of us are having this problem and have been forced to log into the site using our mobile devices instead of our computers.

    How many LPers, though, aren't as fortunate and have access to only one computer which now won't log them in?

    Since there's no email link for the admins listed on the web site, these LP posters have no way of contacting them about the login failures.

    Hey, admins!

    What the heck is going on?

    How come a bunch of us can't log into the site anymore since the new home page went up?

The LP tech guys broke something when they instituted the new page, since I'm not the only person experiencing this problem.

    As for fanboy, I thought it he was more of a content provider than tech guru like Doobie was. Sending him a whiny email about the broken login would be complaining to the wrong individual.

    I find it really strange that the techies running LP don't want anyone to have a simple way to contact them when things go wrong. Doobie was always available for stuff like this, but not the new team. These guys seem to prefer working from a bunker at an undisclosed location. Not exactly the best way to run a Disney fan site if you want to keep visitors coming back.

    Don't think this is true. He just posted on Facebook the other day about an article he wrote for "his" site LP.
    Of course they may not be very involved anymore, but I believe he still "owns" the site.

    Or if you want something more generic, I would imagine that admin-at-laughingplace-dot-com is still active; that's where the "Report this topic to a moderator" button at the bottom of each page sends notifications

    What OS you guys running. That might help diagnose the problem. I am running Chrome on both Windows 7 & 8. Is it maybe a Mac OS? I haven't tried logging in from my i-Mac. It is old and dying... I only use it when I need to transfer a file to one of my newer machines.

    If the LP tech guys ever pay attention to the problem, they would need to know both the OS release you are using and the browser release you are using to have any chance to track down the problem.

    When I went back to a computer where I was already signed on I could get in. Scared to ever sign out.
