That's a lot of stuff going off all at once. And the music is also really nice (and a little ironic with the WW III nickname, but whatever).

As for it being spectacular.. it is, especially because it loud and big. A small sampling of the 4th of July and New year's eve spectacle.. I LOVE it!

A special "Holiday Illuminations" has not been shown since at least 1998 as the current Reflections of Earth show started December 1999 and has been shown over the holidays since.

We saw the Illuminations Holiday show twice this past weekend - Saturday and Sunday nights. Think Illuminations is the second best US Disney show (DL Fantasmic is no. 1), and this special ending is not to be missed. It will also bring a tear to your eye, unless your heart is made of stone.

Anyways... G-Fan and I got to see this show tonight at a very uncrowded EPCOT. The finale is still quite awesome and an extre treat for anyone visiting at this time of the year. It's really something to see such spectacular booming array of shells, which for the most part are more impressive than the regular shells used at all times. However, I came to realize one thing while watching the show tonight. "We go on" is still a very moving song.. but as I listened.. I realized the song represents the positive pre-9/11 note in which the 20th century ended, and with a very positive outlook of things to come. Who would have known that the World would be upside just a short 2 yrs after we first heard this positive musical message. So when Cronkite comes on talkin about "peace on Earth" is resonated ever harder on my head than ever... with the mess this World has become compliments of our leaders and self-serving criminal groups from abroad. Very sad indeed what our World has become.

Why do I get the feeling that you wouldn't waste a bad beer to put out a burning Dan?

There is no such thing as a bad beer. The worst one i ever had was Dixie, and it was wonderful.

I just purchased a Cannon S3 for my upcoming trip to WDW. I hope I can put it to as good of a use as you have done. Thanks for the pictures Doobie.
