It was great to see Dumbo (looking much better than at the opening 50 years ago I might say), Herbie, and Rutt and Tuke. I especially likes the creativity of including the puppets in with the other characters. I was scared that the castle would look really tacky, as it does in the concept art, but luckily the things weren't as heavy looking.

They ended up just covering the 50th Logo on the front of the castle. I actually liked having the castle as the backdrop for the entire ceremony as opposed to a big curtain until the reveal.

I'm still confident that characters like them (and other random characters) will be making appearances at the park for meet-and-greets during the 50th.
