I wonder if they have ever had regular refurbs on any other attractions at the same time before. I know that they both had Pirates down at the same time a few years ago, but that was timed so they could add the Jack Sparrow AA's.

But there's no reason for that beyond it being a cold month, off season for both parks (although DL's is down now for quite a while while MK's will get chewing gum and duct tape fixes and open up with many things still not working).
