I have to admit the whole Boutique thing at the castle is simply deplorable. One more notch against the MK.

The DVC tower construction at the Contemporary is a major architectural mistake for that complex, and the Tink dasani water bottles are cute.

Glad the posters are on the construction wall for 'Toy Story Mania.' Now that cast member scooping ice cream will know what's going on.

    LOL!

It's an "encouragement" to get guests to go to the COP. But COP itself doesn't actually give out FastPasses.

During the 15 minutes I waited to get in to see Flyleaf at the Galaxy Palace Stage, I saw at least 50 people walk away dejected learning that COP was closed. This is one of those declining by degrees in that I know for many people Night of Joy is the only time they ever set foot in the Magic Kingdom. Not have attraction availible is truely bad show.

    This isn't rocket science.

It's really a complex and difficult system, and he does a terrific job with it. Great band, and a perfect fit for DAK.

Same reason why TTA, CBJ and others like that are closed along with stores like Uptown and Marketplace...

NOJ folks have the reputation of destruction and abuse to things and general lack of supervision. I KNOW it doesnt mean everyone who attends as most were quite nice and respectful but the minority ruins it for the majority.

ie why one area had to damage out quite a few princess dresses and accessories as some guests thought itd be great to try on the much to small dresses and streach or ruin them in the dressing rooms...

I do not know what happened at the Machine Head concert, but to many concerts are places to let out aggression. I believe part of the destruction comes from Disney really tight grip on crowd control. During the Flyleaf concert, a mosh pit was started but Disney security made it stop, even though the band said they would rather see it continue. Many of the people at that concert were not "holy rollers" as I saw many Korn and Family Values t-shirts and I have been to several concerts and the rule of a mosh pit is, if someone falls, pick them back up. Some people that go to concerts for mosh pits, if they are not allowed to mosh, take their aggression out elsewhre. But the disstruction of the dresses sounds more like teenagers being stupid.

As to the closing of COP due to the destruction at NOJ, can anyone explain why Disney would leave open something like the Swiss Family Treehouse, an attraction much more prone to troublemaking than COP. Well I agree that the mayhem is part of the closure, I believe it may be a lack of staff for the event.
