I ask are there no walls outside of the restaurant and lobby and windows blacked out. Then he had to ask someone. Well he said they are doing refurbishment of the Marina area and it would be complete by mid week. To me it more looks like work on the restaurant not the Marina. Oh well.... I should have got his name because he said by the time I get there on the 26th it will all be done. In fact I do have his name..... should I LOOK him up when I get there if the walls are still up ? LOL

For the heck of it - I'm gonna find him if those walls are still up and say "you can't see these walls ?" It'll be fun..........

The Boardwalk Villas are getting their FIRST rehab in the 12 years since they opened. I stayed there in February and the room was definitely not up to par (they were just starting the rehab then).

But last month I was in a few units at BW and they were in really sorry condition. If I were an 'owner' I'd have been bitching bigtime (and I hear OKW has some very 'iffy' units now too). The way DVC units are used/abused by guests, I really feel like they need a top-to-bottom renovation every 4-5 years.
